This 10-story, 785,000SF building was enhanced with major architectural and MEP systems upgrades. The scope, primarily centered on the building envelope, including full roof and window replacement and interior upgrades to improve the functionality, appearance and energy efficiency of this important building complex. New York, New York
The building houses the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York and has been the home to the National Archives at New York City since 2012. The National Archives space buildout is one of several projects that ShapiroCM has had in the building.
Due to the nature and value of the collection and the age of the building, many special considerations were made in the process of renovating the space, including a special air-handling system to house the historic contents.

The multi-project, multi-year program, all delivered via a single CMa contract engagement, was completed in mid-2008. This contract was won via a competitive bid process.
